ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management Systems
What is ISO/IEC 27001?
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS).
An ISMS helps organizations assess information security risks and manage the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Its scope, risk assessment, controls and improvement activities should reflect the organization’s needs.
The standard applies to organizations of any size and sector. Certification assesses conformity within a defined scope; it does not guarantee that every security incident will be prevented.
